Our History

Every community needs a locally owned Bank.  We recognized this need in the Woodford County community and opened Citizens Commerce National Bank in 1996.  As the Bank grew, we expanded into Franklin County in 2007 and Jessamine County in 2009.  Even as we have grown, we always remember that the greatest strengths of CCNB come from our ability to do business with people we know and to make decisions locally.   

We believe in giving back to the communities we serve through sponorships and volunteer work.  Our employees are involved in the Woodford Educational Endowment Foundation, Bowl for Kids' Sake, Relay for Life and other charitable fundraisers, and our sponsorships support local sports programs. 

Dedication to service extends to the relationships we have with our customers.  We want to get to know you, and we want to learn how to serve you better.  Like with our new mobile banking application, we're constantly looking for ways to make banking more convenient for you.  Our commitment to service and responsibility has translated to success in business.  We now have four locations and over 16,000 customers, but our vision of serving the community has not changed.  We hope you will let us show you how that vision makes banking with Citizens Commerce a rewarding experience.
